Kithulgala Cabana Resort is an upcoming eco-friendly boutique hospitality project developed by KITHULGALAHOTELS (PVT) LTD., located along the scenic banks of the Kelani River in one of Sri Lanka’s most renowned eco-tourism destinations. Surrounded by lush rainforest, waterfalls, and adventure trails, Kithulgala offers a rare combination of natural beauty, cultural heritage, and outdoor experiences.
Internationally recognized as the filming location of the legendary movie “The Bridge on the River Kwai,” Kithulgala has become a hub for white-water rafting, bird watching, cave exploration, and nature-based tourism. This unique setting provides the ideal foundation for a riverside hotel designed to harmonize with its environment while offering comfort and meaningful guest experiences.

It gives me great pride to present the Kithulgala Kelani Riverside Hotel Project, a vision that is very close to my heart. My journey began with my first business in construction, and with that foundation, I expanded into the hotel industry.
Kithulgala is not just the location of this project. it is my home village. This development is designed not only to create a world-class eco-friendly hospitality destination but also to uplift my village and provide opportunities for its people.
Through this initiative, we aim to support the government’s efforts to strengthen the tourism industry, showcase the natural beauty of Sri Lanka, and contribute to the growth and prosperity of our country.
